Client Brief:
Read Minnesota Books is a podcast and newsletter dedicated to Minnesota’s literary community, featuring author interviews, reading recommendations, and publishing news. The client approached me with a simple concept sketched on a Post-it note: a square logo with arches across the top inspired by the new Minnesota state flag that could also suggest the open pages of a book.

The design called for a light blue background with dark blue lettering, and a small star from the state flag incorporated as the dot of the “i” in Minnesota. I translated this initial idea into a clean, legible visual identity that works well across podcast platforms, newsletters, and digital media, while reflecting both Minnesota pride and a love of reading.
